I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California Irvine. My research focuses on the ecological processes that influence the fine-scale genomic diversity and community composition of marine microbes. On the P18 cruise transect I will be collecting samples for metagenomic analysis as well as particulate organic C:N:P measurements. I am excited to be adding to my previous sea-faring experience and to participate in my first GO-SHIP cruise.
